Ed Sup Event

The next Ed Sup event is planned for Thursday 14th June. There will be two half day sessions - morning and afternoon - in the radiology academy. This will 'tick' the educational training requirement for appraisal.

If you would like further training HEYH also run study days for ES and CS. If you wish to attend - please contact Jane Kaye (jane.kaye4@nhs.net). A reminder will be emailed out to trainees nearer the time with the programme.

Radiology Recruitment Day

Radiology Recruitment Day to attract newly qualified radiographers to be held in the Radiology Academy, Clarendon Wing LGI on Saturday 10th March 2018. For further information please contact Jane Mars (jane.mars@nhs.net.)

3rd Year Presentation Evening

The 14th annual event will take place in the Academy at 6pm on 28th March 2018. Refreshments will be provided.

Over the years Consultants have proffered lecture titles for the 3rd years to choose from a wide range of topics including pictorial reviews, cutting edge technologies and educational/political issues pertaining to radiology. The evening is really entertaining and the presentations are marked by volunteer Consultants with the top two presenters receiving prizes.

If you need examples from previous years to trigger your imagination please let us know.

Please forward any ideas to Jane Kaye (jane.kaye4@nhs.net) no later than the 31st January. If your title is chosen, you may wish to get involved or you may wish to allow the trainee to develop the theme themselves.
