This two-day course is accredited by the East Midlands and Yorkshire Section 12 Approval Panel for practitioners requiring approval for the first time under Section 12 of the Mental Health Act and is valid for those attending from other parts of England. It also fulfils the requirements for approval as a DoLS Mental Health Assessor (Module 2 of the Royal College of Psychiatrists’ DoLS Mental Health Assessor Training Programme for Section 12(2) approved medical practitioners).
