Welcome to the School of Obstetrics and Gynaecology site
Yorkshire and the Humber Deanery's School of Obstetrics and Gynaecology offers training at all levels, including sub-specialty opportunities and academic training opportunities.
Training within the School of Obstetrics and Gynaecology takes place in North and East Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire, South Yorkshire and West Yorkshire.
The main objectives of the School are:
- To deliver the education and training to the standards set by the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, PMETB and the Deanery.
- To promote excellence in all aspects of the work of the school.
- To support and encourage innovation in training and education.
Less than full time training is fully supported across the deanery.
Our hospitals are within easy reach of the many attractions throughout the region and there are good transportation links to other regions in the United Kingdom. Yorkshire and the Humber is a friendly and picturesque region with plenty of variety and culture.
