HR arrangements for SpRs from the former Yorkshire Deanery
HR cover has changed for SpRs employed under the lead trust arrangement for the former Yorkshire Deanery. The Medical Personnel Department is no longer situated at the Deanery. This service is now provided from the Medical Staffing Service based at Trust Headquarters at the St James Hospital in Leeds.
With immediate effect, you should contact the Deanery only for matters in relation to your training RITAs, CCT date, and completion of training documentation. All other matters (i.e. relating to your employment and salary) should be referred to:
Medical Staffing Service, Human Resources Department, Upper 1st Floor, Trust Headquarters, St James's University, Beckett Street, Leeds, LS9 7TF, telephone 0113 2065980 or fax 0113 2066556

Swine Flu: Implications for Postgraduate Training
Health officials continue to observe the impact of Swine Flu on a national level. Although the flu pandemic has had no considerable implications on postgraduate training at present, this cannot be ruled out should the situation deteriorate. If there are developments that could affect postgraduate training, decisions would be taken on a national level, and communicated via this page. Trainees should visit the homepage regularly to keep 'up to date' in case of developments.
