Why East Yorkshire & N Lincs Programme ?

This training programme is distinct in its ability to provide experience working across 4 major district General Hospitals and 2 distinct Immunology laboratories.

The clinical units provide access to training in all areas of adult clinical allergy and immunology. Paediatric Immunology is provided on site at Hull Royal Infirmary with close liaison with the Newcastle Paediatric Immunology Service.

The laboratories provide a full Immunology service covering autoimmunity, allergy and immunodeficiency and there are excellent facilities for training available.
There are close links with the Hull and York Medical School giving opportunities for academic and research studies with a large Immunology research base at York University.

This training programme provides the opportunity for a trainee to gain the relevant experience necessary to pass the RC Path membership exam in a part of the country with easy access to rural and historical areas.

Applicants interested in visiting the departments are welcome to contact us.
