Doncaster and Bassetlaw have a young, dynamic team with four consultants, one associate specialist and six clinical nurse specialists. Trainees here are predominantly based in Doncaster, but undertake selected clinics in Bassetlaw.

Special interests include osteoporosis, adolescent rheumatology, connective tissue disease, vasculitis and multi-system disorders.

Musculoskeletal ultrasound training is currently provided here on an informal basis, and it is hoped that this will become a permanent feature of the rotation in the near future.

There are excellent opportunities for trainees in Doncaster to participate in GIM training (low or high intesnity) if required.
