Managing your Health and Wellbeing
About this section
Postgraduate medical, dental and public health training is rewarding, demanding, and at times genuinely hard.
Looking after your physical, mental, and emotional health and wellbeing is not a luxury or a sign of weakness. It is fundamental to practicing safely, sustainably, and well throughout your career.
Our Managing your Health and Wellbeing pages bring together guidance, resources and support services to help you understand the wellbeing challenges that postgraduate doctors, dentists and public health practitioners (PGDiTs) commonly face, navigate disabilities and long-term health conditions, access neurodiversity support, and find the right help when you need it. This includes accessing deanery-funded and locally delivered counselling and psychological support services.
