A number of outstanding individuals are sought to join the network of Associate Deans, a senior Health Education England (HEE) faculty who contribute to the strategic development of the agenda in Yorkshire and the Humber and assist in the delivery of all aspects of HEE core business.
Accountable to the Health Education England Dean through the Deputy Postgraduate Deans, the ideal candidate(s) will be an experienced NHS professional with a thorough understanding of the multi-professional education agenda. He/she will have strong leadership and communication skills, be able to work effectively as a member of a multi-professional team, and be a strategic thinker and implementer, with the ability to successfully deliver major change initiatives in a complex working environment.
Appointees working within a Trust will be seconded to HEE with payment to their current Employer at the rate of 2 PAs/sessions per week (negotiable). The Trust will therefore remain the post-holder’s Employer. Successful applicants from a non-Trust background may be employed by HEE on the agreed number of sessions per week if a secondment cannot be agreed with the current Employer. In both cases it is expected that the current employing organisation will have given prior agreement (at least tacitly) to the application.
