This position offers a unique opportunity to work with the South Yorkshire & Bassetlaw Integrated Care System, working across professional and organisational boundaries, whilst having the opportunity to influence meaningful change, develop leadership expertise and access training and mentorship. 

The purpose of the post is to work within the SYB ICS Workforce Hub to support the advancement of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion across the Allied Health Professions (AHP) & Healthcare Sciences (HCS). 

The focus is to explore the complex issues and challenges to Equality, Diversity & Inclusion across the AHP/HCS and enable positive steps to be taken towards to addressing inequalities and barriers to inclusion.  Alongside their training, you will be supported to lead a change initiative exploring an area where meaningful change is required at System, organisational/local, and/or professional level. 

You will be supported by an educational supervisor, alongside a broader team of mentorship and coaching, and will have access to a range of networks and forums. 

 Opportunities will exist to develop experience and know-how in areas such as quality improvement methodology, project management, influencing and facilitating change, and strategy development. 

You will be challenged to develop your understanding of national, regional/system, and local/organisational drivers and priorities, considering the impact of policy, strategy and culture at these levels.
