This is a one-year leadership post based in Health Education England working across the West Yorkshire Health & Care Partnership (WY HCP).You will either:• be seconded as an OOPE (out of programme experience)from your speciality training programme for junior doctors or undertake a secondment or• fixed term appointment if you are from another clinical background. This post focuses on the expansion and effective utilisation of clinical placements for undergraduate nursing, midwifery and AHP students in West Yorkshire. You will develop your leadership skills by networking across a complex ICS region, undertaking distinct, self-identified projects that are aligned to the learning environment and placement (LEAP)strategy and priorities. Furthermore, you will be engaging with key stakeholders within the ICS and promoting the WYLEAP programme of work. You will be supported by senior leaders at HEE and within the ICS to develop an understanding of HEE and ICS functions and responsibilities and how they interact by attending meetings, supporting working groups and through your own independent learning. As a successful applicant you will also have access to a variety of development opportunities (eg. Myers Briggs Type Indicator feedback, 360 appraisal, coaching, participation in an Action Learning Set) and will be supported to undertake 1 year of a postgraduate qualification.
