The Yorkshire and Humber Improvement Academy is offering a unique and challenging fellowship with a strong emphasis on Patient Safety and Quality Improvement. We are seeking exceptional fellows from different professional backgrounds to undertake this year long attachment and to develop the skills and knowledge that will help them become the clinical leaders of the future. The Leadership Fellow will lead a programme on learning from death and specific patient safety incidents, that will have a regional and national impact and can support policies that will serve clinicians and patients into the future. The Improvement Academy, based at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, is a leading national centre in patient safety and quality improvement. The Fellow will work across a broad spectrum of health and social care settings and in collaboration with a range of organisations. They will join a well-established team of improvement and patient safety specialists from a variety of clinical, managerial and academic backgrounds to help support them in their role. Through our academic and improvement links, our fellows are supported to develop expertise in Quality Improvement, Behavioural Change, Human Factors, Data Analytics, and Change Management.
