Curricula and Assessment
Due to regular revisions, arising from changes in the training environment and the requirements of the GMC, the JRCPTB are currently running various curricula for trainees in each specialty. All relevant curricula are listed below.
ARCP
Formal assessment of progress occurs once a year in May/June. You can assist the assessors by keeping your e-portfolio and logbooks up to date. The decision aid (below) outlines the minimum requirements for workplace based assessments and it is best to spread these out to measure progress over the course of the year. In most cases, apart from penultimate year assessments, ARCPs are done remotely. If the outcome of remote review is unsatisfactory then trainees will attend a face to face panel.
