An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, innovative pharmacist to develop leadership skills through the HEE Future Leaders Programme and to complete a collaborative project examining the management of investigational medicinal products for clinical research. The project aims to understand best practice and propose, develop and evaluate innovative systems for the management of investigational medicinal products (IMPs). The post holder will examine and analyse all aspects of IMP management including research governance, resource management and digital transformation and propose new ways of working. Additionally they will devise, deliver and evaluate pharmacist training for the clinical review of research protocols linked to the Foundation and Advanced Pharmacist Frameworks. A key aspect of the role will be to build strong relationships with multi-professional clinical research stakeholders. Applicants must be a registered Pharmacist, have a post-graduate qualification in clinical pharmacy and extensive hospital pharmacy experience.   

The expectation is for the candidate to complete a leadership qualification at a minimum of PGCert, applying the learning throughout the project and to disseminate their findings through publications and conferences.
