During the COVID Pandemic the way the GP School has delivered education to our trainees in Y&H has changed. The situation has given us the opportunity to try new ways of delivering the curriculum. During this period the number of trainees in Y&H has also increased significantly and the demographics of our trainees have changed, and the learning needs have become more diverse. As we emerge from the pandemic, we need to develop a strategy for the future on how we use the new resources and ways of teaching to deliver the GP curriculum in the most effective way to ensure that we continue to deliver trainee centred training. You will have the unique opportunity to be part of the team evolving new ways of teaching across Y&H and the chance to ensure that the curriculum delivery offered meets the needs of all trainees in the future. You will receive mentorship from senior leaders, have the opportunity to network across primary care in our region and acquire additional qualifications relevant to leadership and medical education. It is expected you will participate in and present your work at national conferences and leadership development programmes.
