An exciting opportunity exists for a Clinical Leadership Fellow enthusiastic about education to join the corporate nursing team to review and develop the role of a multi-professional Clinical Educators' (CE) team across Leeds Teaching Hospitals (LTHT) in line with the 5 year Nursing and Midwifery Strategy (2021). The CE role is pivotal for the strategy to be successfully implemented across the organisation and ensures our staff feel valued, supported & have equitable access to professional development. COVID-19 has changed the delivery of education within the organisation and the role of CE has also evolved inconsistently changing the responsibilities for CE’s and educational delivery methods. Ensuring that our staff have the best & consistent support during this period of covid recovery is important. Through the review of the CE role, the CLF will develop an understanding of clinical professional development and what it takes to provide excellent leadership, education and support for our clinical staff. The CLF will learn and implement proven quality improvement principles and objectively measure outcomes. Through collaboration with the QI faculties, our senior leaders, frontline staff and our patients, the CLF will become aware of and develop their own leadership skills.
