An opportunity exists for a Clinical Leadership Fellow (CLF) to develop their knowledge, skills, and enthusiasm to review and develop the competency and capability frameworks in place for Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioners (tACPs) across Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust (LTHT). The role will support the delivery of the Goals and Objectives of the LTHT Advanced Practice and Medical Associate Professions (MAPs) Strategy. Providing assurance around the application and the quality of clinical competency and capability frameworks, which underpin tACP training in LTHT, is a pivotal component of the strategy. There is a need to ensure that all competency and capability frameworks reflect the Multi-Professional Framework (MPF) for Advanced Level Practice (HEE 2017) ensuring that our tACPs are supported to develop and train to the highest standard and deliver outstanding, safe care to our patients. Leadership development opportunities around stakeholder engagement, education, strategy, implementation, quality assurance and multi-professional working will be plentiful. The post offers the opportunity to help shape the future direction of this significant staff group whilst promoting the delivery of safe, outstanding patient care.
