This Faculty development project presents an opportunity to develop leadership in the area of education. The project will develop an educational programme to support the professional development of HEE clinical faculty. This will enable them to provide high quality appropriate support for trainees. A key aim is meet the identified needs of the clinical faculty and to focus on key HEE YH priorities. The spectrum of potential education is wide but might include increased awareness of existing operating procedures and practice. addressing discrimination, including racism in education and the workplace and bespoke support for trainees working with a range of neurodiversity. The fellow will have an opportunity to collaborate with trainees, senior clinical faculty, the senior business team and educational providers. They will need to be innovative in their approach to both the content of the programme and it's delivery. They will need to consider the educational needs of clinical faculty working in the wider system in which doctors work & train .There will be opportunity to share the development of the programme regionally and nationally.
