TPD - Foundation

An outstanding individual is sought to fulfil the role of Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust Foundation Training Programme Director (North East Yorkshire). 

Accountable to the lead Deputy Postgraduate Dean via the Head of School of Foundation, they will play an important part in the direction of training programmes across Health Education England, Yorkshire and the Humber (HEE YH). Specific roles and responsibilities will be discussed at interview.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced NHS Consultant with a thorough understanding of Foundation training across the region.  They will also have strong leadership and communication skills and be able to work effectively as a member of a multi-professional team.

The post will be available on the basis of a secondment arrangement to HEE YH remunerated on the NHS Consultant Pay Scale – 1 PA per week. 

All work undertaken is to be incorporated into the Consultant Job Plan.

This is a HEE YH wide role and the successful candidate will have knowledge of all rotations and trainees. They will be expected to cover for the other TPDs during periods of absence. 

The post is not necessarily locality specific.
