Anaesthesia in Yorkshire and the Humber
Welcome to the Health Education England Yorkshire & the Humber Anaesthetics Recruitment page. There are 3 regional training programmes within the School based around the teaching hospitals in each region namely the East (Hull), West (Leeds) and South (Sheffield). Each programme provides training in all areas of the 2010 curriculum, has well organised teaching and enviable exam pass rates. The expected duration of this training programme is either 2 years (Anaesthesia) or 3 years (ACCS Anaesthesia) subject to satisfactory progression. The actual duration may depend on the circumstances of individual trainees.

Health Education England working across Yorkshire and the Humber will be hosting local interviews as part of the national recruitment process.
Interviews will be held on 10-11 January 2018 at Elland Road Stadium, Leeds.
Health Education England working across Yorkshire and the Humber will have the folllowing vacancies:
- 13 Core Anaesthetics Posts (August start date)
- 33 ACCS Anaesthetics Posts (August start date)
These numbers will be split within each rotation as follows:

This recruitment process is for posts commencing between 1st August 2018 and 31st December 2018. The start date of individual posts will be provided during preferencing.
